This training is provided by the Transportation Curriculum Coordination Council (TCCC) in partnership with NHI to review the basics for highway plan reading. This course is recommended for the Transportation Curriculum Coordination Council levels II - IV. This course is primarily intended for inspectors and technicians.

The ability to read plans is essential for anyone involved in highway and/or bridge construction. This training reviews the information found in a culvert plan.

This training is part of the curriculum from the Plan Reading Series (FHWA-NHI-134108) which covers both basic plan reading instructions, as well as, providing a more in-depth level of instruction for anyone seeking more information and/or a review of plan reading. This training is designed for FHWA, State, and local agencies and their industry counterparts involved in the construction process of highways and/or bridges. It is applicable to anyone desiring a better understanding of plan reading.
