Store and Materials

We offer a wide variety of hard copy and electronic copy reference manuals, guides, and information materials. NHI Store materials are available for purchase to everyone. Hard copy items are priced to cover the cost of printing and shipping, and electronic materials are available for download at little or no charge. Search our selection of materials below.

Material Format
NHI course materials are available in hard copy and electronic copy formats. Hard copy materials will be mailed to you. Electronic materials are available for download and can be saved on your computer.
Search for Materials
You can search for materials by course number, keyword, and/or course title. Enter information into the appropriate fields, then click Search.
Search Using the Tag Cloud

The "Search NHI Store by Tags" box contains key terms from items in the NHI Store. The larger the term appears, the more materials in the store contain it in their name. You can click on a term to bring up search results for materials containing the term in their name.

You can also use the "Show tags in:" drop-down list to re-display the cloud with only the terms related to materials within the specified topic.

Training materials are included in session enrollment fees and provided at your training session. Training participants, including FHWA employees, do not need to purchase materials separately.

Due to fiscal constraints, FHWA employees who are not enrolled in a training but would like a copy of the training materials will need to purchase materials from the NHI Store.

Materials Cancellation

If you would like to cancel your materials order, please contact our Materials Manager via e-mail at nhimaterials@dot.gov or phone at 703-235-0552.

Materials Included in Session

If you are enrolled in a session, you do not need to purchase the session materials separately. Training materials are included in the session enrollment fees and are provided at your training session.

FHWA Employees

For FHWA employees enrolled in a session, training materials are included and do not need to be purchased separately. Due to fiscal constraints, FHWA employees who are not enrolled in training but would like a copy of the training materials will need to purchase materials from the NHI Store.
