Title:  (SR300) Work Zone Process Reviews
Date/Time:  10/31/2011 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Eastern Time
Description:  Periodic evaluation of work zone management efforts and results helps Agencies identify and effectively address the safety and mobility impacts of work zones. Process reviews help assess the effectiveness of a program and/or a set of policies and procedures and how their implementation is working in practice. A process review both enables an Agency and its respective FHWA Division Office to confirm that a problem does not exist, and to make recommendations to improve situations where shortcomings might exist. This webinar will include discussions from States that have successfully conducted a work zone process review. Representatives from the Louisiana, Iowa, and Colorado DOTs and FHWA Division Offices will discuss how they worked together to conduct a process review, what worked well and what did not, and lessons learned that other States can apply to their process reviews.
