DESCRIPTION:
This training is provided by the Transportation Curriculum Coordination Council (TCCC) in partnership with NHI to review integrated materials and construction practices for concrete pavement. The training was developed by the National Concrete Pavement Technology
Center at Iowa State University. This training is recommended for the Transportation Curriculum Coordination Council levels III and IV.
This module covers an overview of QC/QA concepts and definitions. It does not provide sufficient detail to actually develop a comprehensive QC/QA plan.

OUTCOMES:

- Identify the basic QC/QA terminology and record keeping requirements
- Recognize the statistical quality control chart
- Describe the common QC/QA tests performed for concrete paving projects
TARGET AUDIENCE:
This training is designed for FHWA, State, and local agencies and their industry counterparts involved in the quality control activities on a Portland cement concrete paving project.
