National Geotechnical Inspector Qualification

Objective

The development of a nationally accepted qualification program that will serve to improve quality, ensure uniformity and establish a minimum standard of construction for geotechnical work.
  • State/Industry/FHWA initiative (Office of Infrastructure/NHI)
  • Coordinated with the 5 National Regional Certification Groups and the Transportation Curriculum Coordination Council (TCCC)
  • Program is being administered for the State DOTs by the Regional Groups
