Description:
At the request of FHWA, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation recently published a Program Comment that will eliminate individual reviews under Section 106 of the NHPA for common post-1945 concrete and steel bridges. This session is designed to acquaint FHWA Divisions, State DOT, Historic Preservation Offices, and other interested parties with the specifics of the Program Comment, as well as the special requirement for FHWA Divisions to develop lists by state of any exceptional bridges which would fall outside of the Program Comment.
