Description:
The Interactive Highway Safety Design Model (IHSDM) is a suite of safety analysis tools to evaluate the safety and operational effects of project-level geometric design decisions on highways. The complete IHSDM suite consists of six modules. This web conference will provide an overview of the IHSDM 2012 Release, focusing on the following major enhancements: 1) a Beta version of crash prediction capabilities for mainline freeways segments based on draft HSM materials developed under National Cooperative Highway Research Project 17-45; and 2) a new site-based data input and analysis capability that provides users with more flexibility in how data are entered.
