US Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced on July 6, 2011 that there is $527 million in funding available for a third round of the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant program. The TIGER program provides funding to States, cities, local governments, and other partnerships for projects which have significant impact on the Nation, a metropolitan area or a region. During this webinar, representatives from the USDOT's Office of the Secretary and the TIFIA program office will discuss the application process, public private partnerships and credit assistance through TIFIA challenge grants in the next round of TIGER Discretionary Grants.
