NTTD Members and Associates: At a business meeting of the Board of Directors on February 25th, 2009, a decision was made that we will not be holding a traditional conference this year based on the survey results of the membership and tight travel budgets. Rather, the Board is pleased to announce that we will still have a conference, but a conference based on technology that we all use in our training deliverables or self-development programs.
We will be conducting our 2009 conference via Video Teleconference and Webinar concurrently so that you and your staff may join the conference in the mode which best suits your needs. This will allow for multiple attendees from each state DOT and associates with a zero travel cost.
As the agenda is more fully developed, it will be distributed to all parties. If you have any "hot topics" that you would wish for the board to consider adding to the agenda, please do so. Responses may be sent to any of the board members.
