New NHI Web Site Features

NHI is committed to serving the transportation industry with the highest level of quality. We always strive to find innovative ways to help you quickly and easily access the information you need. Recently we began improving our Web site to make it more accessible and user-friendly; these new innovations are highlighted in the entries below.

Automated Session Alerts

January 2014

Have you been monitoring a particular course or state to see when its next ILT session will be scheduled? Now NHI can help! NHI is introducing new e-mail alerts for customers to be alerted automatically when Instructor-led training sessions are scheduled for a particular course. You can also sign up for alerts when any Instructor-led training sessions are scheduled in a particular state.

To receive alerts when sessions of a particular course are scheduled, select the "Sign Up for Session Alerts" link on the course’s description page. You’ll receive an e-mail whenever a session of the course with available public seats is posted on the NHI Web site.

To receive e-mail notifications when Instructor-led training sessions are scheduled in your state, select the eSubscribe icon on the NHI Homepage and select the states that you’re interested in following under the "Training Session Notifications by Regions and States" heading when choosing your subscription topics.

You can adjust your alert settings to increase or decrease the number of alerts that you receive at any time. For more information about modifying your alert and e-mail subscription settings, please see our eSubscribe Information page.

New Site Navigation Features

September 2010

In September 2010, NHI introduced an interactive, easy-to-use navigation column on the left side of its course and content Web pages. The information in the left column expands directly on the page you are viewing for easier browsing and less back-and-forth navigation. Your favorite links are categorized and organized in this new navigation element for easy access, and it appears throughout the site to help you find what you need as quickly as possible.

In addition, the NHI Web Site features a site map at the bottom of each page for easy reference and use. Now all of the transportation information that NHI provides is just a few clicks away.
